Vehicles for Change Community Opening – September 29, 2012

Vehicles for Change will host a community open house at our new location, 4111 Washington Boulevard Halethorpe, MD 21227, on Saturday, September 29th. Stop by for some free food, activities for the kids, a complimentary oil and tire pressure check, and a tour of the space.

Speakers include VFC president Marty Schwartz and VFC Board Member Bill Greenhalgh. A Baltimore county family will receive a vehicle during the ceremony.

WMZQ Fall Fest Car Giveaway

After a month-long contest, Vehicles for Change awarded a 2003 Chevy Impala to a Virginia family at WMZQ’s Fall Fest on Saturday, September 8th.

Throughout the month of August, WMZQ listeners nominated families that they knew were in great need of a vehicle. WMZQ and VFC staff then reviewed the nominees and narrowed the list down to two finalists. After a week of public voting, Chantilly resident Christina Darr was named the winner. Read more
