Vehicles For Change can help you get there, literally. Vehicles For Change is a nonprofit organization that helps individuals who want to work to help themselves by providing affordable cars and a chance for an improved life. In a recent study, 73% of our car donation recipients obtained better jobs/promotions and have increased their income by an average of $4,800.

To qualify for a car through VFC, all individuals must first meet the following criteria:

• You must have a job or verifiable job offer.
• You must be insurable. No DWIs or DUIs on your driving record.
• You must not have any other vehicle in the household.
• You must be drug free and no extensive criminal background.
• Able to pay for your insurance and fees for taxes, tags and title.
• Willing to take a 15-month loan to pay for your car. Car fees range from $900 to $1150 per car and the monthly payment is $85 to $99 per month. Each recipient is guaranteed a loan without regard to credit history.

Every month we receive 120-170 donated cars and award them to eligible recipients in the following counties in MD and the state of Virginia via government funding:

• Carroll
• Anne Arundel
• Howard
• St. Mary's
• Dorchester
• Harford
• Frederick
• Washington
• Montgomery
