National charities aren’t the only ones that can raise thousands of dollars through car donations. Your school or organization can do it, too, by teaming up with Vehicles for Change.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: As an approved partner, your cause would get 40% of the net proceeds from the sale of vehicles donated by your supporters (members, alumni, etc.) to VFC.

Hypothetically, based on past sales, 50 car donations could mean $16,000 for your organization.

PARTNER QUALIFICATIONS:

• 501(c)(3) status
• Located in Maryland, Virginia or District of Columbia
• Commitment to educating your supporters about the partnership and reminding them quarterly.

All you need to do is spread the word. VFC will do the rest:

• Respond to donor inquiries.
• Tow vehicles at no cost to donors
• Handle vehicle sales and paperwork
• Issue monthly reports and checks to your organization
• If desired, attend a check presentation or event to thank your group in person

• Tell your community about VFC’s need for car donations though your newsletter or website.
• Make VFC the beneficiary of a raffle, golf tournament or other activity.
• Invite us to have our information table at an event.
• Ask us to speak to your group.
• Distribute VFC information to your community (we’ll provide them).
