Top 4 Reasons to Donate Your Car to Vehicles for Change
July 3, 2012 by Administrator

There are many reasons why you should donate your used car to Vehicles for Change – but we managed to narrow them down to the top four:

Get the Highest Tax Deduction! You may be able to write off the FULL fair market value of your vehicle when you donate to Vehicles for Change.

Help Local Families in Need! Your donated vehicle will help change the life of a low-income family. With your old car, these families will finally own reliable transportation, enabling them to work and earn more money to support themselves.

Have Your Car Picked Up, FREE! Don’t worry about transportation fees or getting your vehicle towed. We will come to your home, office, or wherever is most convenient to pick up your donated vehicle.

Receive Full Paperwork & Receipt! When you complete Vehicles for Change’s 100% safe and secure process, you will receive a written receipt from us that shows how your car was used and how much you can deduct from your taxes.

I wish to donate my 2000 Sonoma in fair shape in working order has 210,000 miles – has been well taken care of regularly at dealership.
Could you tell me what deduction or tax credit I expect ?

Thanks for your inquiry! Due to the mileage, your truck would most likely be sent to auction. You would be able to deduct the selling price from your taxes, up to the vehicle’s fair market value. You can check out “What Happens to Donated Vehicles” for more info.

If you wish to donate, please give us a call at 410-242-9674 or complete our online form
