A Set of Keys Moves Family Forward
February 22, 2016With a set of keys in her hand, Tenika Gilliam, a mother of six, will now be able to provide her family with more.
Gilliam’s daily commute will no longer be a hassle now that she is the owner of a 1999 Dodge Caravan. “Taking public transportation with all of my children and not having the extra money to enjoy life with them has been a challenge. Now that I have a car, I will be able to finish school, improve my credit, become more reliable at work and pick my children up from after-school activities.”
A car donation has given Gilliam and her children the freedom they need to access more opportunities. “This is a great program. I pray that they are always here to help families in my position.”
