Student Bypasses Job Roadblock
June 29, 2016Daniel Rivera is one of the top students in his class at Orleans Technical Institute. Not only is he an outstanding student but he is ambitious outside of school as well. He has been trying to fit a job into his busy schedule. Daniel has missed opportunities for well-paying jobs because public transportation does not always take him where he needs to go.
With his award, Daniel will be able to get to his appointments on time, instead of relying on his friends to drive him. He will be able to secure a job, and says the car “will make him a better man, not only for himself but for his family as well.”
