For over two decades, Vehicles for Change has helped families move forward through our Keys to Independence Car Ownership Program, providing reliable vehicles to families working toward stability. A dependable car means getting to work, picking up children, accessing healthcare, buying groceries, and saying yes to opportunity.

The Process

How It Works

Vehicles for Change partners with a network of sponsoring agencies that provide access to our program application. Applicants work directly with their case manager to complete the application in full and the sponsoring agency then submits it to us. Once received, our team reviews the application and communicates next steps directly to the sponsoring agency.

Who Qualifies For Vehicles

Vehicles are awarded to working individuals who lack reliable transportation but are committed to building stability. We receive referrals through workforce programs, nonprofits, and community partners who understand the path forward.
