Mayor Awards Car to Hardworking Mother
March 16, 2016Chantae Rogers is one of the two recipients who was awarded a car by Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. Rogers is a hostess at the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore and often takes the bus to work. During the winter months, she frequently waits for the bus for up to an hour and a half in the cold. Without personal transportation, arriving to work on time has been a challenge for Rogers. With a car, she will be a reliable employee and she will be able to attend her son’s extracurricular activities.
