New Car Makes Road to New Job Easy

Tanisha Dickerson is a 29-year-old mother of a young son. In order to make it to her new job in Northville, she often relied on borrowing a car from a friend or a family member. She utilized public transportation, but the bus schedule to this suburb makes it difficult to get her son to school and arrive at work on time.
In January 2016, Vehicles for Change, in partnership with Wayne Metro Community Action Agency, awarded Tanisha a 2001 Daewoo Nubria.

Now Tanisha is a reliable employee and she can drive her son to school and doctor appointments. Vehicle ownership allows Tanisha to preform her daily tasks with ease.
