A Dream Comes Full Circle – Brittny’s Story

Brittny, a hardworking mother, was striving to provide for her young son while working at a doctor’s office in Baltimore. But when the transmission in her Acura TL failed, she found herself at a standstill—literally. The repair cost of over $4,000 was insurmountable. Without a car, she risked losing her job, impeding her son’s education, and the future she envisioned.

Scrambling for transportation, she borrowed cars to get from point A to point B. Then, her mother introduced her to Vehicles for Change. Brittny applied and was awarded a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2015—a moment that changed her path forever.

That Jeep didn’t just get Brittny to work—it gave her the freedom to build her dreams. She kept her job, ensured her son made it to school, and pursued her passion—event planning. What started as a hobby became B.Luxe Event Rentals, now a leader in luxury event production. Today, she’s a proud CEO, a mother of two, and has worked on high-profile events, including Governor Wes Moore’s inauguration celebration.

Brittny’s Jeep Grand Cherokee continued making an impact long after she moved forward. When she could finally purchase her own vehicle—once unimaginable—she passed the Jeep to her stepfather, ensuring its impact lived on for years to come. And what did she buy? Another Jeep, staying true to the brand that helped her move ahead.

When asked what she would say to her donor, Brittny simply said, “All things come full circle—I have endless gratitude.”
