A New Car, A New Opportunity
February 5, 2015The holidays came early for David , who received a 1998 Nissan Altima from Vehicles for Change on December 4th. Now that he owns a vehicle, David no longer has to ride his bike eight miles in the cold to get to work and back each day.
He looks forward to taking on more work hours, going to school, and implementing personal change by making it to more recovery group meetings.
David is able to set bigger goals, and car ownership will help him reach them. He will take another giant step as early as Monday, when he begins a new job in Washington, D.C.
