Car Ownership Allows Mom to Make a Difference
March 18, 2016Moneak Canady, her husband and two children relied on public transportation to complete life’s daily tasks. Moneak works as a home healthcare aide where she takes her clients to doctor appointments. Moneak used her clients’ vehicles to take them to their appointments and run their errands because she did not have a car of her own.
Vehicle ownership allows Moneak to get to and from work every day and to take her clients to their appointments. Now that Moneak has a car, she can take on additional clients and increase her household income. “This car is going to help my family reach one of our goals—to have a ministry to help those that are less fortunate,” says Moneak.
