Hardworking and Selfless

Luis Lugo is going to help out his family with his new car. Luis’ nephew suffers from asthma and has to go the doctor’s office frequently. With his car, Luis will take some of the strain off his family by driving his nephew to appointments. His father works long overnight hours and does not have his own car, which  causes him to depend on others.Luis plans to be the shoulder his dad can lean on by shuttling him to and from work.
 As a full-time student at Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield, CT Luis works during the day at Carey Manufacturing and attends college at night in hopes of obtaining a degree in machining to better his life for himself and his family.
