Vehicles for Change

Diana | Hyattsville, MD

Originally from Mexico, Diana is a resident of Hyattsville, MD and a hardworking mother of two daughters named Melody and Chloe. Thanks to the donor of her 2009 Ford, Diana’s work commute has been cut significantly and she’s also able to get back and forth to school, where she is studying Criminal Justice. “This vehicle will change our lives,” she said. “My daughters will have the life I always wanted!”

As a mother, Diana values family time with her children – and, now that she no longer has to take the bus, she will be able to spend more time with them. “We’ll be able to do so much together,” she said. “I look forward to taking my girls on day trips and doing fun activities like visiting the petting zoo.” Diana is extremely thankful to the donor of her new vehicle. “This experience has given me the opportunity to change the childhood for my children and enhance their education,” she said. “I am so happy and full of joy – I love them and they changed my life for the better. I wish I could give them a big hug!”
